What is love?
First , let’s describe love ; Love is an irresistible feeling which expresses itself in willingness to do anything to put a smile on the faces of the people one adores or cherishes , and also keep them safe from any harm .
When you love someone you can bear me witness that there’s nothing you desire but the very best for them . You will do anything to make sure they are okay and will even make decisions that make sense to no one but yourself and those you love.
You can’t love someone and want bad things to happen to them . Hate and love cannot co-exist for the same person. Hate is caused by unforgiveness , bitterness in your heart because of all the wrongs and unpleasant experiences someone or some people put you through .
It is this bitterness that causes us to focus on other people’s imperfections , weaknesses instead of their positive side. The more you keep a record of wrongs , is the more your love for others will deteriorate . And bitterness in your heart will hurt you more than it will any other person .
Bitterness and negativity leads to tension , stress and hence illnesses to the body . Therefore love is the way to keep you pushing for an abundant and happy life.

One of my favorite verses in the Bible is 1 Cor 13: 1-13 which all talks about love . And is the lonest chapter on love in the entire bible .
1 Corinthians 13
If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
